The newspaper covers famous German-Americans in the history of the United States. Especially in the 1800’s, many Germans came to the U.S. Many of them settled in Minnesota and the Midwest, thus impacting the cultural and industrial development. The museum newspaper tells their stories.

Simple, bold and geometric shapes are typical elements of German design and create a connection of German-Americans with their origins. The newspaper was designed during my time at college and was laid out on 22 inches x 17 inches. It contains modern and traditional elements in layout and type-setting.
